Who we are
Splendid Products Ltd is a small family business with no desire to grow beyond its management capability and exists because the owners enjoy what they do. All our branded products are made in the U.K. and we work closely with our suppliers to try and improve where possible the performance of our products. Wherever possible we design and manufacture our own products in our modern South Wales factory.
We always undertake extensive product testing before launching a product and, unlike many e-commerce businesses we can even be reached on the telephone!

Here at Splendid Products we have been creating our own branded products and having them made for us for nearly 20 years. Our main brand is the LITTLE PLUMBER which is an electronic device used to remove and prevent limescale and soften hard water.
Some years ago a customer wired one of these units to his pond re-circulation system to try and get rid of the Limescale on his pool liner. To his amazement it not only got rid of the limescale but also the Blanket Weed. This seemed a good opportunity to explore the possibility of converting the Little Plumber products into WEED BUSTERS and these proved to be very successful in many cases. However the number of units that did not remove the weed completely coupled with competition from cheap imported copies soon got us looking for another more reliable solution.
We came across the biological treatment which today is known as GREEN LIGHTNING. Not only is the product safe to use but it is so successful that we now have many thousands of happy regular customers.
Our addition to the Green Lightning range is RED LIGHTNING which treats the ever present problem of SLUDGE. This too has proved to be very successful.
